Mission

These mock auditions were established to provide more accessible opportunities for Texas music students to further enhance their preparation and understanding of the TMEA and ATSSB All-State etudes.

This is a recorded mock audition focused on Area round preparation with full performances of the TMEA and ATSSB All-State etudes.

​​Written feedback for each etude will be provided. While this mock audition is focused on preparation for the TMEA and ATSSB Area round, any student is welcome to register and submit recordings. 

​Audio recordings must have zero edits beyond cutting out silence before your performance begins and ends (2-3 seconds on either side of the performance is ideal). Each etude must be recorded separately and clearly labeled with the participant's name and etude title (ex. Patrick Geren - Etude 1). Please listen to your own recordings before submitting to ensure speakers/headphones do not become distorted or overblown.
